Dana Miller Real Estate ("we," "our," or "us") is the real estate practice of Dana Miller, a California licensed real estate agent (DRE #01472899), brokered by GUIDE Real Estate (DRE #01976629). Information you give us. When you use a form on this site, such as asking to talk with Dana, requesting a home valuation, asking about a community, or requesting a referral to an agent in another area, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about what you are looking for, such as a property address, a location, whether you are buying or selling, a price range, a timeline, and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical information when you visit: browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived, including campaign tags on links from our videos and posts so we know which content brought you here. Section 3 covers the tools involved.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we delete it if we learn we have.
We keep tracking on this site light. The site may use cookies or analytics tools to understand how it is used, such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and general browser and device information. We use that measurement to improve the site and our content, and any analytics provider we use receives this data on our behalf as a service provider. We do not use these tools to build advertising profiles or to follow you across other websites.
We may also use advertising and measurement tools from the platforms our ads run on. Those tools may recognize your browser or device and tell the platform that you visited this site, so we can measure our ads and reach people who have shown interest in what we do. California law calls this "sharing," and you can turn it off at any time using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer of every page. Section 6 has the details.
We use the information you submit to respond to your request: to contact you about buying or selling a home, to prepare a home valuation, to answer your questions, to match you with a referral agent when you ask for one, and to send you the communications you have agreed to receive. We use the automatically collected information to understand which content brings people to us, to measure our advertising, to keep the site working well, and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Opt out of sharing. To turn off advertising sharing for the browser you are using, open the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page and switch it off; the choice is saved in that browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request automatically, with nothing else for you to do. We do not respond to the older Do Not Track browser setting, which has no agreed standard.
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA). We honor these requests from anyone who submits them, whether or not the law technically applies to a business of our size:

You may also have someone make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof that you authorized them. We aim to respond within 45 days.

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to serve your request and maintain our client relationship, and as required by California real estate record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion at any time under the rights above.
This site uses an encrypted connection, and access to the information you send us is limited to the people who work on Dana’s behalf. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the information involved.
